I turned it on right as the 3rd quarter started and saw that it was 17-0 I was like "well shit, this is going to suck" but then they started kicking some ass.

Next week they're playing the Colts at Indy so we'll see how that goes.

Are you a philly fan? The colts should be interesting. They dont have too much of a defence but obviously theres andrew luck so the offence should have some pace. I imagine itll be a high scoring shootout with foles.

Yep, the Eagles are the only sports team I follow. It's not always easy catching the games in Europe because of the timing.

I won't even get to watch the game, it starts at 2:30 am over here.

I live in the UK so it can be a struggle for me too, had some very late nights watching NFL games. It's been my favourite sport for years. I'm hoping to watch colts broncos tonight but it doesnt start til 1.30 am.

*sniff sniff* why you gotta make it personal? Haha just kidding but really is dislike them for three main reasons. One is that belicheck is by all accounts both a cheater and an asshole. Two is that the patriots won that Super Bowl by three points and they may at that time have been filming other teams practices. The third reason is that Boston fans have had every major sports team win at least one title since the beginning of the 21st century which is plain unfair

Spygate was blown out of proportion, Belichick is an asshole but I find him funny, a typical curmudgeonly grumpy old man. Also I've never been to Boston and don't watch baseball or basketball.

Oh I fully know it was blown out of proportion, however I cling to that as the reason for the super bowl loss as a way to save some of my sanity because of all the super bowl failure

That superbowl was before my time anyways, I actually havent seen the Pats win one in my time, just read about them. As most of us brits do, I picked them pretty much at random because they played in the first NFL game I watched and enjoyed the game. I did see them in their last loss to the Giants. I don't like Eli Manning.

Well we can both agree on the Eli Manning thing. And your fan situation mirrors what we do with soccer and the premier league. I chose Chelsea because I saw them win a match when I first saw a premier league game and from then on I just began to follow them

Yeah it's the only way to pick a team really. Someone I know picked Seattle because they liked the jerseys, but otherwise everyone seems to pick a team that played in the first good game they watch.
